May Training - Debating: The Noble Art of Argument
“I know what I’m talking about!”
Come along to the DJC training evening on Tuesday 11th May for an evening of fun and, hopefully, laughter.
Thinking on your feet and speaking in public is a skill many of us envy in others. Well this is your chance to have a go at collecting your thoughts on a range of topics and putting them across to persuade an audience you are right.
David Foster, of DJC Patrons Winningbusiness, has been public speaking and debating for many years, and will be running this event for DJC. Follow his guidelines and learn how to stand up and talk authoritatively on any subject, even if you haven’t a clue what you are on about, and then join in the competition to win a bottle of champagne and the title “DJC know-it-all 2010”.
Open to all, if you don’t want to have a go yourself, come along as part of the audience and have a great evening out.
Date: Tuesday 11 May 2010
Time: 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start
Location: The Enterprise Pavilion, Arts University College, Fern Barrow, Poole
